Thank you so very much to Olive My Stuff for the donation of clothing to our outreach. Our own board member Wendy Malone Levy coordinated with Ali Pappageorge Jagoe to make this happen! Our neighbors in need are often faced with choosing to pay for medications and for their utilities over getting clothing. Knowing this need exists fuels our goal to offer nice clothing. Thank you to Ali for your generosity. Not only does your clothing offer warmth but also an added sense of self confidence and style. St. John's Family Center aims to uplift in every way we can!
A HUGE thank you to board member Jim Funk for his wonderful donation towards shopping carts for the food pantry. We serve over 175 families EACH week at our food pantry at are aiming to convert to a full shoppers choice method for our neighbors which would mirror shopping in a grocery store. Our purpose is to have our neighbors feel dignified and that they have a choice while visiting our food pantry and empower the difficult choice they make each week to have to come see us.
We could not do what we do without the generous grant of weekly donations from Panera Bread, also the wonderful support of the individuals and organizations involved in all our initiatives.
